Established in 1994 and managed by Paul Murcia since 2001 HTMS Scandinavia has gained international respect and reputation by providing sales, marketing and communication services to leading travel industry names such as Orient Express Hotels, Trains and Cruises, Preferred Hotel Group and Corinthia Hotels.
The head office in Stockholm covers the Nordic region and the Baltic States.

Market in brief

The Nordic region comprises of Sweden Norway Denmark and Finland and the Baltic States are made up of Estonia Latvia and Lithuania.
Nordic region: Population 22 Million – these countries are among the richest in Europe and the high level of disposable income results in a significant spend in international travel. The minimum annual holiday allowance is six weeks.
Baltic States: An area of great expansion the Baltic States are undergoing a strong transition period as they adjust to EU membership.

Paul Murcia

Paul Murcia, a British national resident in Sweden for almost 30 years has a wide range of experience in the Nordic travel industry having been Director of Sales & Marketing in the region for Forte/Meridien Hotels & Resorts from 1989 to 2000. Paul is today a shareholder of H.T.M.S. International a member of its board.
