H.T.M.S. Hospitality & Travel Marketing Solutions was founded in 1988 in Milan by Gianni Martino, soon joined by Marco Innocenti. Both with a wide experience in marketing and tourism the two entrepreneurs introduced in Italy a new business concept giving to hotels and hotel chains the possibility of fully outsourcing their sales & marketing activity in the country. In 1993 the subsidiary company H.T.M.S. Scandinavia was established in Stockholm to take the company’s G.S.A. (General Sales Agency) concept in Scandinavia, Finland and in the Baltics. Under the guidance and experience of Paul Murcia, the company rose to become the leader in its area, doubling the success of the Italian mother company. With the foundation in 1999 of the Preferred-DMC division dedicated to provide representation and sales services to leading inbound operators and destination management companies H.T.M.S. International consolidated its position of leading G.S.A. in Northern and Southern and released a growth plan to expand in Europe and worldwide. Following the opening of the Preferred-DMC division, the increased attention paid to the international tourism buyers’ market, leaded H.T.M.S. to the release of the pre-post sales “Beyond Sales Program” that gave the group an unrivalled knowledge and control on the MICE and F.I.T. top buyers around the World. In 2003 with the arrival of Emanuele Nasti (now third shareholder of the holding) and the establishment of the Moscow based H.T.M.S. Eastern Europe, the Group become a truly international organization, further expanded with the release of an expansion plan that as seen the foundation of H.T.M.S. UK & Ireland (2004), H.T.M.S. China (2006) and the licensing of existing GSA operation in Spain become H.T.M.S Iberia (2005) and Czech Rep. become H.T.M.S. Central Eastern Europe in 2006. Today H.T.M.S. International is the recognized world leading sales and representation company in the travel and hospitality industry and is valued partner of world largest tourism trade fair organizers (such as: REED Travel Exhibitions, IMEX and TTG Expo) being responsible for selection of the top international buyers fully hosted at their shows. No one better than the represented clients can explain the reason of the success of H.T.M.S. International. |
